Blackpool sex attack investigation sees police issue picture of man they want to speak to
Police have issued a picture of a man they want to speak to after a woman reported being sexually assaulted in Blackpool.
Lancashire Constabulary has released an image of Derek Foxcroft, also known as Derek Moreland, after the alleged incident in Blackpool on Wednesday . The 38-year-old has links across Lancashire as well as in Salford, Greater Manchester. Detectives have urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. They have also asked for people to share their appeal in order to locate him.Foxcroft, 38, of Central Drive, is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build. He has a six inch scar on his forehead.
Ch Supt Karen Edwards, of Lancashire Police, said: “Foxcroft is wanted in connection with a very serious offence. We would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward immediately.Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or email [email protected] quoting log 0364 of January 23.
