Police release image of man they want to speak to after CCTV cameras stolen from primary school
Police have launched a photograph of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their inquiries into the theft of CCTV equipment at a primary school in Ancoats.
Nine CCTV cameras were stolen from the grounds of St. Anne’s Primary School on Carruthers Street on Tuesday, May 30. No arrests have been made at this time. . In the released photographs, the man is wearing a dark blue hoodie and a lighter blue gilet jacket.He is also pictured wearing a grey cap alongside a white face mask, and black jogger bottoms and dark blue/white adidas trainers. Anyone with information to share is being asked to contact police.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers in Greater Manchester Police’s City of Manchester North district are appealing for additional information after nine CCTV cameras were stolen from the grounds of St. Anne’s Primary School on Carruthers Street in Ancoats last month . “The attached images are the man GMP would like to identify and speak to as the district believe he has vital information that could help with their investigation.Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 3501 direct quoting incident number 734 of 30/05/2023. Alternatively, details can be passed on to 101, through the GMP website or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on Live Chat function on gmp.police.uk or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
