Plans have been submitted to transform one of Belfast's most popular LGBTQ+ venues with the addition of a rooftop bar.

Maverick opened in the former Front Page bar on the corner of Donegall Street and Union Street in November 2013. In recent years, the bar has expanded with the addition of The Reporter, a small bar in what was the former keg store which is themed around the journalistic heritage of the surrounding area.
