Popular Accrington bingo disco returns - with even bigger balls
Bingo That’s Bonkers will take place at Poplar Social Club on Wellington Street on Friday, December 16 at 7.30pm. The evening will have hosts and DJ’s playing smash hits from the eighties and nineties, as well as current chart music.
Owner of Bingo That’s Bonkers, 32-year-old Owen Lewis, said: “The event is great for groups, staff parties and for people to get together and have a good time. We’re taking bingo out of the halls, adding music and even bigger balls.“There will be a smashing atmosphere with crazy games and great prizes.”
Founded in 1911, the Poplar Social Club will have a fully-stocked bar, serving beer, prosecco and spirits for those attending. Second release tickets are available for £15 plus a £1.50 booking fee for those 18-years-old and over. Or a ten person package can be bought for £25 each , which includes reserved front row seats, decorated seating, good bags with inflatables, whistles, glow sticks, bingo pens and cakes.
