A pregnant woman and her unborn child have died after being struck by a car while walking in a town centre.The 39-year-old victim, who was six months pregnant, was struck by a black Nissan Pathfinder on the A508 in Northampton on Saturday afternoon.The woman was rushed to University Hospital Coventry but medics were unable to save her or her unborn baby.Officers are urging for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 0800 174615.
