Ben Mee's TOTY choices haven’t gone down well
Mee has been a rock at the back for the Bees, but his Team of The Year choices hasn’t gone down so wellin their second season in the Premier League, making 37 appearances.
Starting from the back, Mee picked Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope, with Manchester City’s Nathan Ake, Arsenal’s Gabriel, Brighton’s Lewis Dunk and Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier in front of him. Leading the line for Mee’s side is Gunners star Bukayo Saka, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and, unsurprisingly, the Premier League record-breaking goalscorer Erling Haaland.
“Salah over Saka. Ahead on every single stat bar passing,” the fan said, before Mee replied: “Yeah fair point.”
