A fantastic effort by Donna, alongside her family and friends for RosemereCF
Donna, who works in the NHS and also runs an animal physiotherapy practice, competed in last weekend’s Lake District SUPBIKERUN alongside 15-year-old daughter Taylor and 13-year-old son Connor, who was the event’s youngest participant, and nine family friends.They successfully completed a 20km bike ride, 5km trail run and instead of the usual starting swim, a 3km SUP – stand up paddleboard on Lake Ullswater.
Donna, said: “The run was especially hard as there was a steep climb but it was about celebrating life and giving back for treatment that I and my children’s godmothers received at Rosemere Cancer Centre. “Other family has also received treatment there. I am grateful to have my 50th birthday to look forward to.
