Yesterday afternoon (September 21), Preston Police launched an appeal to help find a Preston man wanted in connection with a number of offences.
Daniel Helme was wanted for offences of assault, criminal damage and coercive and controlling behaviour.
The 28-year-old, from Hoyles Lane, Preston, has links to Lancaster and Morecambe, and police were calling for anyone with information to come forward. However at 6:15pm yesterday, Preston Police confirmed Helme had been arrested and was currently in custody. Daniel Helme has been arrested in connection with a number of offences, including assault and criminal damage.
