Murder arrests after man fatally stabbed in chest in Preston
Six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was fatally stabbed.
Lancashire Police said officers responded to a report of an assault in Raikes Road, Preston, Lancashire, at 18:25 BST on Friday.Two girls, aged 15 and 16, two boys, both 16, and a man and woman, both 18, have been detained.The teenagers and woman, all from Preston, and the man, from Blackpool, remain in custody."I understand that people in the local community may be concerned," he said.
"These two offences are not linked but the outcome is that two families in Preston have now been left devastated by the impact of knife crime."
