Lancashire Constabulary has welcomed a new Operations Manager, Superintendent Steve Rides, into post at its Preston divisional headquarters.Supt Rides’ policing career began in 1998 when he joined Greater Manchester Police. He later transferred to Lancashire Constabulary in 2007, where he commenced the role of Response Sergeant at Colne.
Having spent his 15 years of service with Lancashire Constabulary in the east of the county, Supt Rides says he is pleased to join Preston as the new Operations Manager. “Our role is to make communities feel safe and for them to have a voice around policing priorities and what matters to them most.
