A passionate Preston ian, Rory is keen to use his skills in video and socials to raise the city’s profile as a cultural destination by showcasing live music , events, and the arts. 'I’ve always rated Preston as a city,' said Rory. 'I honestly love it. I’ve visited over 240 places in 26 countries, but something always brings me home. Over the years, I’ve got to know the city like the back of my hand.
There’s a really cool creative scene here bubbling away, but it never seems to get the spotlight it deserves. Preston Pulse is my attempt to remedy that.' A firm believer that more could be done to promote what Preston has to offer, Rory has taken inspiration from neighbouring locations. 'As a city, I think we’ve historically done a pretty terrible job of showcasing the wealth of not only the artistic and creative talent we have here, but the breadth of interesting events as well.
