Prince William's Homewards project is 'a considered, practical blueprint for the future'
The Prince of Wales has taken the next leap forward in shining a light on the homelessness problem that plagues the UK with the launch of Homewards.
"I’m impressed by what seems to me to be a fresh, practical approach to problems that have impacted society for generations. It’s all very well making speeches about homelessness or even going to visit projects to help people who have fallen into this trap. "How many times have we all said 'if only the right-hand knew what the left hand is doing?' There is so much duplication and overlapping of the people involved in solving this crisis. William’s plan should cut out a great deal of this, which can only be to the good."
The Prince, who is patron of organisations such as Centrepoint and The Passage, is continuing his late mother's work, with Jennie telling us: "Obviously it was his mother, Diana, who instilled in William this deep interest in helping the homeless. And he has already indicated that he is passing this on to his own children.
