Prince William sends video to Lionesses and apologies for missing match

Prince William isn’t travelling to Australia for England's clash with Spain but sent the team his best wishes.

Prince William and daughter Princess Charlotte have sent a video wishing England good luck for Sunday’s World Cup final.

It’s understood he decided not to attend because a trip Down Under would’ve involved flying across the world for a very short period of time.He said: “Lionesses, we want to send you a huge good luck for tomorrow. Prince William didn’t attend last year’s men’s World Cup, staged by controversial hosts Qatar, due to a busy winter schedule.
