The Princess of Wales' then-boyfriend Prince William did not join her for the royal wedding
from an Elie Saab blush gown to a cornflower blue Catherine Walker coat to royal weddings in the past, but none have been as rebellious as the outfits she wore before marrying into the royal family.
Aged 26, Kate caused a stir when she was pictured at Lady Rose Windsor and George Gilman's wedding at the Queen's Chapel, St James' Palace in July 2008 without her then-boyfriend Prince William. Kate's trademark black eyeliner and long lashes made up her pre-royal beauty look, while she now favours more natural soft brown eye makeup.She had previously made two wedding appearances with William in June 2005 and May 2006 respectively. For the former, Kate celebrated Will's friend Hugh Van Cutsem Jr.
