This visit is part of a number of engagements being carried out by Kate this week to mark World Mental Health Day, which took place on Tuesday, October 10, and yesterday she and Prince William hosted a forum for young people in Birmingham. During her visit to the county, the Princess will speak to students and staff during a freshers fair-style exhibition to learn more about mental health at the universities.
The Princess will encourage young people to build key protective factors, such as healthy relationships and communities so that they can have strong foundations as they move through life.
