It seems Sony is disappointed in PS5 sales during their recent price cut, but it's hard to understand why considering how much they're selling.
last month a surprise, but it seems Sony isn’t happy with how much it moved the needle in the UK. ‘In United Kingdom, it’s a bit weak, but Europe as a whole has been performing quite well,’ said Sony COO Hiroki Totoki during a recent financial call.
While Sony’s results do break sales down by region, they never got into quite so much detail as how it’s doing in different countries, but the UK is traditionally considered to be the third largest PlayStation market in the world, behind the US and Japan. There’s been nothing to suggest that’s not still the case with PlayStation 5, but it may be that Sony’s expectations were unreasonable.
