A Professional Standards Department misconduct investigation is ongoing
A PSNI officer is due in court after an alleged incident at a hotel in Northern Ireland while he was off duty.
In a statement, the PSNI said: "Police investigating an incident at a hotel in Ballymena on Thursday, 21st September have charged a man to court. "He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19th October. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
