A pub landlord has given the excuse that he's been too busy helping Ukrainians to sort out the out-of-date meat he's been selling to his patrons 😳

A pub landlord who was selling out-of-date steak and pork to locals said he was too busy helping Ukrainians to throw the meat away.

But the 48-year-old has since insisted his kitchen was not open at the time, and staff left in charge did not know what to do with the expired food., and we were not selling food at the time.He was dragged to court after council inspectors found ‘significant cross contamination risks’ at the pub.The kitchen in the Old Pandy Inn was ‘filthy’

Barbu pleaded guilty to more than 20 food regulation offences from March last year, and was fined £2,400.
