The pub had its licence to sell alcohol revoked after a violent incident back in March 2023
A pub has again been rejected for a licence to sell booze after being banned back in April following a shooting.
“Stephen, you are an active suspect as part of the investigation,” PC Isherwood told Manchester Town Hall. “You and Janice have both received threats to life and we do not think you are fit to hold this licence .” The Vine pub on Glendower Drive also had its licence temporarily suspended following the incident in March - which was thought to be connected to organised crime groups, according to GMP. The Vine has since been reopened after having their licence suspension lifted.
