'Wonderful' pupil praised for making it through entire primary education without a day off
A school has praised a “wonderful” pupil who has gone through his entire primary education without taking a single day off. Hard working Milo Bridge is leaving St Mary’s RC Primary School in Clayton-le-Moors this year and starting secondary school in September.
Since his first day in reception, he has been an ever-present at lessons, giving him a perfect 100 per cent attendance record throughout his primary education. Proud headteacher Michael Mashiter said it was only the second time in more than 20 years involved in education that he has seen such a feat. His determination to attend school every day was matched by his desire to work hard and do the very best he could do - which is all we ask of our children. He is a wonderful young man and we are extremely proud of him.
