Vladimir Putin has claimed ‘war is being waged againstMoscow and other Russian cities are today hosting military parades and other festivities to mark Victory Day, Russia’s biggest secular holiday that this year has been significantly overshadowed by the war inDuring his speech, the Russian president said the war in Ukraine had placed the global community ‘at a breaking point’, and compared the conflict to the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union.
