Queen Elizabeth II was known to have shared close relationships with all eight of her grandchildren
Queen Elizabeth II was surrounded by close family members when she passed away at Balmoral Castle on 8 September, with her grandchildren, Prince William and Prince Harry, along the Royals who raced to Scotland in a bid to say goodbye.
Dad-of-three William relocated to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor with his wife Kate Middleton, 40, and their three children - Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four year old Prince Louis - just weeks before Her Majesty's passing, reportedly in order to be closer to her. Harry and Meghan's one year older daughter Lilibet is also named after Her Majesty, whose nickname was Lilibet.
Zara's older brother Peter tends to keep out of the spotlight, but previous reports claimed that he was actually Her Majesty's 'favourite', and he could be found regularly attending important events such as Trooping the Colour. The loving grandmother also lent Beatrice Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara for her big day - the same tiara she wore on her own wedding day to Prince Philip in 1947. Prior to this, only Princess Anne had worn the tiara.
