Queen's head groom heartbreakingly reveals her pony Emma had 'sixth sense' Her Majesty wouldn't ride her again 😔😔
Queen Elizabeth II’s head groom has revealed that the late monarch’s beloved horse Emma had a “sixth sense” that she wouldn’t be riding her again. With this in mind, Emma was standing waiting for Her Majesty yesterday, Monday 19 September, as she bid a final farewell to the Queen on her way to St George’s Chapel.
“It was an honour and privilege to have Emma with me to say goodbye to Her Majesty for the last time,” he told Mail Online. “I think she probably had some sort of sixth sense that Her Majesty wouldn't be riding her anymore and she did her proud by standing there so respectfully.” “It's a memory I shall never forget, and I tell you something, the Queen may have been frail as any 96-year-old would be, but she was still as sharp as anything, she was crystal clear.”Terry has previously discussed Her Majesty’s relationship with pony Emma and two years ago described the equine as “a wonderful servant to Her Majesty and is still going strong at the age of 24 as one of The Queen’s riding ponies”.
