The number of schools in England found to have been built, or partially constructed, with Raac has increased from 174 to 214.
The update has removed Cockermouth School, in Cumbria and The Appleton School, in Essex, from the list after they were found to not have Raac, despite previously being suspected to.
The Welsh Government said Ysgol David Hughes and Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi in Anglesey would be temporarily closed for learners so that further safety inspections can be carried out.At least 30 schools in Scotland found to contain a potentially dangerous concrete have been named by councils, with Edinburgh City Council currently having the highest number.
At the suggestion that some parents will be worried about sending there children to places which could contain Raac, Schools Minister Gibb said "they can be absolutely assured" that schools have been given the right advice. Mr Gibb insisted the government will pay for the costs of temporary accommodation after official guidance suggested schools will have to cover the emergency measures.
Schools were told moving to pandemic-style remote education should only be considered as a "last resort and for a short period".
