Adam Frizzell says former gaffer Ian Murray won't be happy that Airdrie won the last meeting
Adam Frizzell reckons former gaffer Ian Murray will be ‘raging’ that Airdrie got the better of his Raith Rovers side earlier in the season.
Having defeated old gaffer Ian Murray’s side 1-0 with a Calum Gallagher strike back in September, Frizzell expects a tough clash at Stark’s Park – but says they’ll look to leave with all three points.“These are the games you want to play in, the big games, and this is why making the step up to the Championship was so good for us.“That’s what you love to play in, as a footballer, so we’re looking forward to it.
More sports news from across Lanarkshire “They’re high-flying, but it’s the first quarter now, we’ve played every team, and I don’t think we’ve been out of any game. “But if we take one game at a time and keep racking the points up, then we should be at the positive end of the table, come May.”
