A passion for incredible pizza 🍕
"I have a genuine obsession for pizza - we just got back from a two-day trip to London and tried 20 different ones while we were there, making notes each time," Liam Galt told LancsLive.
Soon, a pipe dream became a reality and Pizza Rana was borne and has since amassed 12k Instagram followers. "We started a family then lockdown hit and our pizza trips to find the best pizza naturally became less frequent," dad-of-two Liam explained. "I love old Mercedes vans, they look awesome so I went down to Essex to view a van and came back with it that day. Pizza Rana has consumed our lives in the best way and my whole family is so supportive and our kids, Freddie who is four and Ivy, two, are always over the moon when we bring pizza home."
Liam and his wife, who is from London, strive to become the 'Pizza Pilgrims of the north' a phrase they coined due to Rachel's roots and their fondness and inspiration taken from Neapolitan pizza restaurant chain based in the capital.
