It could be the end of an era

Iconic Nottingham company Raleigh says it is 'keeping its options open' after housing plans for its headquarters resurfaced. .

"The initial three-year window was coming to an end this month, so we have applied again for another three years in order to keep our options open.'' Raleigh previously said it would relocate but remain within Nottinghamshire, although it has not specified where this would be to. Mr Radulovic explained his desire for Raleigh and the council to work together to meet the needs of the local area, if the company chose to leave and develop its site. "It is a site that would be much-needed housing and we will be seeking meetings as soon as possible to look at a proportion of those being affordable for local people.
