The Bristol Bar could be forced to close after owners were issued with a notice stating that the company is to be 'wound up'.
The future is looking uncertain for a popular Rangers pub after a notice was issued asking for it to be wound up.
However, the owners have now been issued with a notice asking for it to be wound up by the Court with a liquidator to be appointed if no action is taken.Following the notice being given, The Bristol Bar or any other interested party has eight days to respond before a liquidator is appointed by the court to take control of the company's assets.
"These works will involve removal of large sections of the ceiling to install an air conditioning system and the overdue repairs to the floor tiles. "We are so sorry about the short notice but with the season coming to a close we feel now is the best time to get this work out of the way."We will be back soon and thanks for your support, we can't thank you all enough."According to Companies House, the company which owns the bar has been issued with a compulsory strike-off notice five times since 2010 that have later been discontinued.
