The Gers midfielder took to Instagram this morning hinting he may 'delete' his account following a barrage of abuse after posting a story with his tongue out at Ibrox on Sunday.
Todd Cantwell is facing backlash on Instagram after a post he uploaded on Sunday - but has hit back at his haters in a story and suggested 'we may as well delete our accounts'.
However, it didn't bode well with some fans. Issuing a statement on Instagram on Monday morning, Todd said: "Woke up this morning to see all the comments about a photo I posted. So just for clarity I can get abused every day in so many ways, and get threatened but I can't post a photo of me smiling? Seriously guys, may as well all just delete our accounts then."
Cantwell will be back in the fold this midweek as PSV come to town in a huge Champions League play-off clash. The two-legged tie is a repeat of the same showdown last season with Giovanni van Bronckhorst coming out on top against the Dutch giants.
