There are two versions of the coin and one is rarer and worth more
A rare 10p coin has sold for more than 125 times its face value. The uncirculated version of the coin was sold at £2 when it was issued, but now it’s worth £12.50.
According to Coin Hunter, the uncirculated version of the 10p coin was on the market from £2.00 on issue. Now the value of the uncirculated coin is about £12.50.The circulated version is worth around £10, says coin experts. However, if you find an A - Angel of the North 10p in your change soon, the first thing you should do is check the date on it.
