They'll be flying over Lancashire on Friday as they head to Blackpool for the Air Show
Blackpool Air Show is back this weekend and thousands of spectators are expected to line the promenade to watch the spectacular aerial displays.
. Among them will be the iconic Red Arrows. Flying in their distinctive Hawk fast-jets, the pilots from the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will demonstrate their skills with a mesmerising display. The Red Arrows are now halfway through their 60 performances this summer season, both at home and overseas. The RAF team have previously performed at the British Grand Prix and the Isle of Man TT with displays still set to go ahead at the Clacton Airshow and the Bournemouth Air Festival display.
There will be an opportunity to meet the ground crew of some of the aircraft and meet serving members of the forces, ask them about what they do and take a look at the equipment they use on a regular basis. But, if you can't make the show at the weekend, don't worry there will be plenty opportunities to see the Red Arrows fly across Lancashire, as they making their way to Blackpool on August 11.Red Arrows route and timings for August 12 Red Arrows route and timings for August 13
