The UK's 'Homes for Ukraine' scheme has launched with more than 100,000 people offered to house Ukrainian refugees. But refugees from other conflicts are asking for fairness in the system. C4Ciaran reports.
The UK’s “Homes for Ukraine” scheme opened yesterday with more than 100,000 people offering to house Ukrainian refugees.However, for civilians caught up in other conflicts, such as the recent Taliban victory in Afghanistan, there is no such scheme.
Earlier this week the UN High Commissioner for Refugees urged the world not to ignore Afghanistan, where millions face hunger and destitution.
