A man believed to be a Nottinghamshire boxer has been detained in Croatia over reports of a disturbance on a Ryanair flight. The alleged incident took place on Friday, June 30, on a flight from the Zadar Airport in Croatia to London Stansted.
Reports have suggested a video that had been published on Tik Tok - but has since been removed - had allegedly shown a man shouting at some members of staff and other passengers before running towards the exit before the plane took off. In a statement, Ryanair officials alleged a passenger had become aggressive while preparing for take-off, saying the flight returned to stand. "A passenger was removed from the aircraft by local police before this flight continued safely to London Stansted. This is now a matter for local police," a spokesperson for the airline added.A British man - thought to be a Nottinghamshire boxer - has been detained in connection with the incident.
