The woman was taken to hospital after being rescued from Steall Falls, near Ben Nevis
A hiker has been rushed to hospital after slipping on a rock in horror conditions . Mountain rescue teams raced to Steall Falls, near near Ben Nevis, after the alarm was raised at around 2.15pm on Thursday.
Rescue teams applied a splint before carrying the woman down to the car park. Pictures taken from the scene showed rescue teams wrapped up in winter coats attending to the casualty. Medics then raced her to Belford Hospital in Fort William for further assessment. Their condition is currently unknown.
