PRINCESS DIANA and Prince Charles became engaged in 1981 – but the Prince of Wales made a “huge mistake” by not telling Diana one thing before the engagement, according to a royal author.
In her 2017 biography “The Duchess: The Untold Story”, Ms Junor describes how Diana was friendly with Camilla during her courtship with Charles, thinking that she was just a friend of the prince. “He had not handled things well.
