Priest resigns from role at church after conduct complaint
An Aberdeen priest has resigned after an investigation was launched into his conduct following a complaint.The Scottish Episcopal Church would not confirm what the probe was about but said Mr Taggart would not be returning to ministry with the church.
A spokesperson said:"Terry Taggart has resigned as rector of St Mary's in Aberdeen and from his role with the diocese."An internal church process was commenced following the lodging of a complaint. Terry Taggart resigned following the lodging of that complaint."
