It's time to catch up with our European neighbours
The word is out. But if you've never heard of Remoska before welcome on board. Already a huge name in cooking on the Continent, us Brits are starting to catch up.
The Dua combined the functionalities of a stove and an oven into one compact and versatile unit. It's more compact than its bigger brother, so is more focused on caravanners and campers but I would say the Dua is also perfect for smaller kitchens. It comes in two sizes, two and four litres, which gives you some flexibility depending on how many people you are cooking for.
We were testing out the smaller of the two versions, so the 400W-powered lid was even more economical than we'd experienced with the Tria. It features a clear glass viewing window, a built-in rest and a simple on/off switch. The high-accuracy thermostat ensures precise control for consistent cooking results, while the energy-efficient heating system guarantees even and rapid cooking. The Dua also has safety features such as an automatic shut-off mechanism and heat-resistant handles.
As I mentioned, we've been using a Remoska for around six months now and, yes, it saves money but that would be very little help if it doesn't perform where it should. We've yet to throw anything at it that it couldn't handle, from making our own bread to the Sunday roast.
