Richard E Grant reveals his mother has died as he reflects on their complicated relationship
Actor Richard E Grant has revealed that his mother, Leonne, has tragically died as he shared a lengthy video to Twitter where he reflected on their “complicated" relationship.
“So nothing was ever quite good enough, but what that proved to be was a great motor for ambition and determination to try and prove yourself be the best you possible can, and ironically whatever she demanded she got.” Born in the Summer of 1957, Richard Grant Esterhuysen is the eldest son of Leonne and Henrik Esterhuysen. He also has a younger brother named Stuart, who works as an accountant in Johannesburg, South Africa, but the two are estranged and have “never had a relationship” according to the actor.
