Heavily pregnant Rihanna made a surprise appearance at CinemaCon to drop the huge news that she will be starring as Smurfette in the upcoming Smurfs Movie.
The We Found Love singer, who is set to welcome her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, confirmed the news at the Las Vegas event, earlier today. Appearing at Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino alongside the head of Paramount Animation, the 35-year-old couldn’t help but joke that she actually had her eye on another role before coming on board.As well as channeling the Smurfette of our dreams, it was announced that she will be writing and recording new music for the flick – meaning we’re getting a Smurfs soundtrack before R9.
