Eddie Hearn seen jumping out of his seat after Joe Cordina’s knockdown in new ringside footage
Hearn was sat on the edge of his seat while watching the thrilling contest between Cordina and RakhimovGettyIn the second round of the fight, Cordina dropped Rakhimov to the canvas with a cutting left hook.
Ringside footage has emerged of Hearn leaping out of his seat after seeing the knockdown and he pumped his fists in excitement. This was short-lived, however, as Rakhimov made it back to his feet to bring Hearn and the rest of the Welsh crowd in attendance back down to earth. The action continued for another ten rounds, as Rakhimov managed to battle through despite suffering a cut above his right eye in the sixth round.Eventually, it went to the judge’s scorecards and Cordina snatched it by split decision.
