A three-day event with live music and entertainment is taking place this weekend - and best of all, it's free. Riverside Festival takes place at Nottingham’s Victoria Embankment, from Friday August 4 to Sunday August 6.
Riverside Festival has always championed world music that you wouldn’t usually expect to see in Nottingham, and this year is no exception. The festival also has a folk music pedigree, with the BBC Radio 2 Folk show previously describing the roster as “the best free folk stage line-up in the UK."For fans of more contemporary music, the Bandstand stage sees a diverse range of up-and-coming new talent from Nottingham and further afield.
