I cried when the Oppenheimer star won his first Oscar - darkness nearly swallowed him
Robert Downey Jr poses with the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for “Oppenheimer” but I personally like my awards season with a little more raw emotion. A lot more heart. So, thank God for the man who brought it early doors, his beautifully dispassionate acceptance speech belying the significance of the moment.
It was the best kind of laughter – you know, it comes from your mouth while tears erupt out of your eyes.
