George Kenneth Howard Austin convinced his 64-year-old victim, from Garstang, to have roofing work done without giving her a cancellation notice setting out her rights to cancel the contract, after agreeing the work on her doorstep in August 2021.

Darren O'Connor carried out unnecessary treatments and destroyed the woman's furniture as he pretended to fumigate the property.
