Local residents said they want to see changes made
A busy roundabout has been described as "lethal" by local residents who want to see changes made. White Post roundabout on the A614 Rufford Road, near Mansfield, is one of several roundabouts and junctions set to be improved by a county council scheme.
The retired 68 year old stated: "It is quite a lethal roundabout. The big safety problem from my point of view in a car is the plants are so high you can't see what's coming around the roundabout. "If they make the A614 faster then it would be even harder for those on the two side roads to get out and a lot more dangerous. Sometimes my son pulls out with a trailer at the back and trying to pull out is dangerous."
