Roy Hodgson involved in touchline scrap with Sheffield United's Max Lowe
Roy Hodgson has clashed with a Sheffield United player on the touchline in Crystal Palace's openThe Eagles boss was stood in his technical area as the ball landed near his feet during the clash at Bramall Lane, with Max Lowe coming over to take a throw.Lowe tried to take a quick throw but clashed with the 76-year-old who was trying to slow him down
As Lowe stooped down to pick up the ball, the 76-year-old did all that he could to slow the player down, leading Lowe to forcefully grab the ball in order to take the throw. Discussing the incident with talkSPORT post-match, Hodgson said: "I don't think he meant to catch me, chasing the ball to the side. We both smiled about it. My first reaction of course when I received the blow was complain.
