The local rugby league season started at the weekend, including the first ever match for the Lincolnshire Lions
Lincolnshire Lions’ first ever match ended in a 62-24 defeat against Leamington Royals on Saturday, but they can hold their heads high for putting in a determined and gutsy performance.
After strong phases Watson ran a powerful line to go over for the Lincolnshire side’s first ever try. The Lions continued to pile on the pressure and Tomlinson showed quick feet to go over for an unconverted try in the corner.
