Andy Ruiz wants 'bucket list' fights against Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury as he hints at retirement date
“After the long lay-off I had with knee surgery, we’ve been training really hard because we know damn well that Luis Ortiz is not going to be an easy fight,” Ruiz told“This is why I wanted to pick a hard fight and a hard opponent. It’s exactly why we picked Luis Ortiz.
“I want to focus on four more years in boxing and give it all I’ve got, fight the top contenders,” Ruiz added. The 32-year-old also hopes to secure a third fight with Joshua, adding: “Everyone else has done a trilogy except for me and him.”The 32-year-old also wants to settle his rivalry with Joshuafor later this year after Oleksandr Usyk ruled out fighting ‘The Gypsy King’ for all the heavyweight belts in 2022.
