Police investigating the incident say there was no trace of the driver when they arrived at the scene and their investigation is ongoing. A photograph of the vehicle shows it upside down after smashing through a fence, the Daily Record reports.A statement from the force said: "Around 2.15am on Wednesday, July 19, police received a report of a one-car crash on Craigton Road, Milngavie.
"Officers attended and searched the area but there was no trace of the driver. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
