Ruth Langsford has been flooded with well-wishes from her concerned fans as she shared how she's been struck down. The Loose Women star has received support from her online following after sharing on social media that she is suffering from the "lurgy".
Alongside the post, Ruth wrote to her one million followers: "Got the Lurgy! So I’ve made myself a hot toddy and I’m going back to bed! Lemon, orange, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, honey and a big splosh of Irish whiskey."She added: "Let’s hope this does the trick….
@rees.eve wrote: "Get well soon Ruth. Looking forward to seeing you back on LW and of course, QVC." @vettieboop28 posted: "I love the fancy ness and Irish ness of this! I hope you feel lots better soon!" @susanjones7680 typed: "Omg looks lush...hope u feel better just got over it myself." @rorydmackay added: "Oh dear Ruth, hope you are feeling better soon! The audience groaned with disgust as she looked at the crowd and replied: "Yeah, I know, I know." Coleen Nolan then said: "Oh, so what?" to which Ruth replied: "So somebody said, 'Just leave it,' and I have done before. I have days where I am like, 'I'm going to leave that, I'm going to leave that...'"
