The trial of Ryan Giggs is set to begin again this morning with the judge now back in court - live updates
The barrister says he wants to ask the witness about her claims of Giggs’ negative impact on her career.
In summer 2019 Ms Greville was looking to set up her own business and leave GG Hospitality run by Giggs and Gary Neville. Mr Daw refers to a message on June 17, 2019. Ms Greville messaged: “I need to talk about setting up my business…. I need your advice and guidance…”In July 22, 2019, “I’m missing you, you would love it out here ….”
Mr Daw said: “You say ‘Online but not replied’ That’s an example of you not being happy of the response time, in 17 minute.”She said: “I decided to leave his company in January 2019…. January 2019 was when it was bad.”Ms Greville said: “We were in a relationship and that’s what people in a relationship tend to do.”Judge Manley has entered the courtroom, the jury will be brought in and Giggs’ barrister Christopher Daw QC will continue his cross examination of Kate Greville.
